Map of Lei Yue Mun
Lei Yue Mun is "mun" or "door" because it is a passage
between two land masses, in this case between Hong Kong
Island and Kowloon side. Strictly speaking it is the body of
water which is Lei Yue Mun, not the land. However today the
term is used to describe the land on both sides of this
channel, particularly the northern or Kowloon shore which
holds the Seafood Bazaar.
